Goals

St. Joseph School / Dominican Kindergarten, affiliated with the Dominican Sisters and an integral part of St. Joseph Parish in historic Mission San Jose, is dedicated to providing a strong Catholic religious formation and a quality academic education for elementary school students. Partners in this endeavor, students, parents, educators, and parish community strive to live Christ's message, empowering service-minded future leaders for Church and community.

St. Joseph's overarching goal is to provide a quality educational environment whereby students become successful, lifelong learners. The educational program is directed toward the growth of the whole person -- the spiritual, intellectual, social, psychological, and physical being. The school believes that parents are the primary educators and should be extensively involved in the school program.
